Shitsuren, Arigatō
is the 57th single by Japanese idol group AKB48. It was released in Japan by King Records on March 18, 2020, in four versions. It debuted at number one on the Oricon Singles Chart and Billboard Japan Hot 100, with over 1.4 million copies sold in its first week, making them the first girl group to surpass one million copies in its first week that year. The center for the main track is Mizuki Yamauchi. This single also serves as the last single and senbatsu for long time member Minami Minegishi. Commercial performance "Shitsuren, Arigatō" is the 44th consecutive single by AKB48 to debut at number one. It is their first and only single of 2020. AKB48 (pronounced ''A.K.B. Forty-Eight'') is a Japanese idol girl group named after the Akihabara (''Akiba'' for short) area in Tokyo, where the group's theater is located. AKB48's producer, Yasushi Akimoto, wanted to form a girl group with its own theater and performing daily so fans could always see them live (which is not the case with usual pop groups giving occasional concerts and seen on television). NMB48 (read "N.M.B. Forty-eight") is a Japanese idol group that debuted in 2011 as the second sister group to AKB48, produced by Yasushi Akimoto. NMB48 is named after the Namba district in Osaka city of Osaka Prefecture, where the group is based. The group performs at the NMB48 Theater, which is located in the basement of the Yes-Namba Building in Namba, Osaka. The group has sold over 9 million CDs in Japan. Haruka Komiyama (込山榛香 ''Komiyama Haruka'', born September 12, 1998 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese idol, singer and model. Yumiko Takino
is a Japanese idol singer, model, and presenter, represented by Mama&Son. She is a member of STU48 and the lead performer for the title songs in the group's first five singles, and is also known for her saxophone playing.
