Shiri Maimon
Shiri Maimon (or Maymon; he, שירי מימון ; born ) is an Israeli singer, television personality and actress, who rose to fame as the runner-up in the inaugural season of singing reality competition ''Kokhav Nolad''. She represented her native Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, where she came fourth. In 2008, Maimon won Best Israeli Act and performed in the MTV Europe Music Awards, where she was also nominated for Europe's Favorite Act. In June 2013, Maimon became one of the judges for the first season of ''The X Factor Israel''. She continued her role for the second and third seasons. In 2018, it was revealed that Maimon would leave the show in favor of the rival network show, '' Rising Star Israel''. In 2018, Maimon made a starring replacement in the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway show ''Chicago''. Beit Zvi School for the Performing Arts, and a Theater ( he, בית צבי) is an acting school, and a theater located in the Tel Aviv District city of Ramat Gan, Israel, established in 1950. History Beit Zvi is the country's first theater school . It was founded by Haim Gamzu. Former director Gary Bilu established a theater for Beit Zvi graduates and mounted plays not put on by the repertory theaters. . The Beit Zvi Theater is, until now, one of the most popular theaters in Israel, and the most famous actors in Israel have performed at the Beit Zvi Theater. Teapacks
Teapacks (also known as Tipex) ( he, טיפקס) is an Israeli band that formed in 1988 as HaHotzaa La'Poal (Hebrew: , ''The Execution'') in the southern Israeli city of Sderot. Originally the band was named after the correction fluid Tipp-Ex, but in 1995 the transliteration was changed so as not to infringe on the well-known brand, while keeping the pronunciation and spelling in Hebrew the same. Each member of the band has a diverse background, and as a whole the band has Tunisian, Moroccan, Bulgarian, Romanian, Syrian, Polish, Russian, and Yemenite heritage. Teapacks gained popularity by bringing forward traditional Israeli-oriental music combined with light humorous hints. Zvika Hadar ( he, צביקה הדר, ; born 7 April 1966) is an Israeli actor, comedian and television host. Biography Zvi (Zvika) Fruchter (later Hadar) was born in Beersheba, Israel, to Romanian Jewish family. As a child, he studied piano. Early in his career, he composed numbers for musicals. Hadar first appeared on television as Jojo Khalastra on the satiric show Ha-Comedy Store. He was the host of Kokhav Nolad, the Israeli version of ''Idol'' for ten seasons. Conscription in Israel has been in place since the country's independence in 1948, and is limited to Israelis of three ethnicities: Jews (both genders), Druze (male only), and Circassians (male only). Under Israeli law, only men are drafted from the smallest minority groups of the Druze and of the Circassians, whereas Jewish women are required to serve alongside Jewish men.
