Shinji Hosoe
, also known as Megaten and Sampling Masters MEGA, is a Japanese video game composer and musician most famous for scoring ''Ridge Racer'', ''Street Fighter EX'' and many Namco arcade games between 1987 and 1996. He also runs the music production and publishing company SuperSweep, alongside long time collaborator Ayako Saso. Biography Early life Hosoe was born on February 28, 1967 in Gero, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. His family moved to Chōfu while he was in first grade of elementary school. At the age of 8, he bought Isao Tomita's album ''The Planets''. He also listened to electronic music by artists such as Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk and Yellow Magic Orchestra. Kraftwerk
Kraftwerk (, "power station") is a German band formed in Düsseldorf in 1970 by Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider. Bushido Blade (video Game)
is a 3D fighting video game developed by Lightweight and published by Square and Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation. The game features one-on-one armed combat. Its name refers to the Japanese warrior code of honor ''bushidō''. Upon its release, the realistic fighting engine in ''Bushido Blade'' was seen as innovative, particularly the game's unique Body Damage System. Square (video Game Company)
(also known under its American brand name SquareSoft) was a Japanese video game development studio and publisher. It was founded in 1986 by Masafumi Miyamoto, who spun off part of his father's electronics company Den-Yu-Sha. Taito

Arika
is a Japanese video game developer and publisher. It was formed in 1995 by former Capcom employees, originally as ARMtech K.K, later named Arika. is a two-player 3D vehicle combat shooter game released by Namco for arcades in 1993. The game's perspective is third-person by default, but can be switched to a first-person perspective. The game was nominated for Most Innovative New Technology at the 1994 AMOA Awards. It later received a sequel in 1994, ''Cyber Commando''. Gameplay ''Cyber Sled'' involves maneuvering a hovercraft style tank through a futuristic arena and fighting to eliminate an opponent (either another player or the computer). is a 1993 racing video game developed and published by Namco. It was released initially on the Namco System 22 arcade system board and ported to the PlayStation (console), PlayStation console in 1994. It is the first title in the Ridge Racer, ''Ridge Racer'' series released for arcade game, arcades and home consoles. The aim is to finish in first place in a series of races. ''Fighter & Attacker'' is a 1992 vertical-scrolling shooter arcade game developed and published by Namco. Gameplay and development In ''Fighter & Attacker'', players control one of sixteen different aircraft as they must complete each of the game's eight areas. Each aircraft are based on real-world fighter jets, including the F/A-18E, F-15J, F-117A, and F-14D. It runs on Namco System 2 hardware, and was ported to the TurboGrafx-16 in 1989, with releases in both Japan and North America.
