Background and development In early 2012, vocalist Ringo Sheena announced that the band would disband, after releasing their final extended play ''Color Bars'' and performing their farewell tour ''Bon Voyage'' in February 2012. In February 2012, the band released ''Tokyo Collection'', a compilation of the band's songs performed live at different events and tours the band undertook. The album was first announced on June 15, 2012, along with the band's DVD ''Chin Play Kō Play'', released on the same date. , known by her stage name , is a Japanese singer, songwriter and musician. She is also the founder and lead vocalist of the band Tokyo Jihen. She describes herself as "". She was ranked number 36 in a list of Japan's top 100 musicians compiled by HMV in 2003. Early life Sheena was born with an esophageal atresia in which the esophagus narrows as it approaches the stomach. Treatment of this involved several operations, at least one of which required her right shoulder blade to be cut open. These surgeries left Sheena with large scars on her shoulder blades, said to give the impression that an angel's wings had been removed. It features his version of "Love of Your Own" (written with Hamish Stuart) which was also recorded with Stuart's Average White Band the same year. The album also includes Doheny's version of his own song “Get It Up for Love” which was originally recorded in 1975 by David Cassidy on his RCA album '' The Higher They Climb'' and released by Cassidy as a single. Patrick Anson Doheny "Ned" Doheny (born March 26, 1948) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist from Malibu, California, who has recorded eight albums and has performed with other artists including Don Henley and Glenn Frey of the Eagles, J.D.
