Sikha
The ''sikha'' or ''shikha'' ( sa, शिखा; IAST: śikhā; "crest"; Hindi चोटी (choTi)) means flame, powerful, ray of light, peak of a mountain. It is a name of Hindu / Indian origin, and is commonly used for females. It also means long tuft, or lock of hair, left on top or on the back of the shaven head of a male Hindu. Though traditionally all Hindus were required to wear a śikhā, today it is seen mainly among Brahmins and temple priests. In West Bengal it is called Tiki. Hinduism The śikhā reportedly signifies one-pointed (''ekanta'') focus on a spiritual goal, and devotion to God. It is also an indication of cleanliness, as well as personal sacrifice to God. According to Smriti Shastras, it is mandatory for all Hindus to keep śikhā and the first three twice-born or dvija castes (brahmins, kshatriyas and vaishyas) to wear yajnopavita (sacred thread), also called janeus, punool, or paita. Bhavana Rao (born 6 June 1989) an Indian actress who has predominantly appeared in Kannada language films. She made her debut in the Kannada multistarrer ''Gaalipata'' (2008) winning critical acclaim for her performance, before playing leading roles in ''Kola Kolaya Mundhirika'' and '' Vinmeengal''. She is also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and has anchored for various Television programs before becoming a lead film actress. Shikha Joshi
Shikha Joshi was an Indian actress, model, and classical dancer. Sexual molestation allegation Joshi had alleged Dr. Vijay Sharma, who had performed a breast implant surgery on her in 2006, sexually exploited her in 2011. The doctor had gone missing since her death, until 20 May, when the Mumbai Police recorded a statement from him. In November 2013, Joshi and her brother, Vishesh Joshi, were arrested for pelting stones at Sharma's residence in Andheri, but were later released on bail. According to a police officer, Shikha Joshi was supposed to make a court appearance on 24 May 2015 in connection with the stone-pelting incident. Death On the evening of 16 May 2015, Joshi, at 40 years of age, committed suicide in her flat in Versova, Mumbai, by slitting her throat with a kitchen knife in the bathroom.
