Takenaka Shigeharu
, who was also known as Hanbei (半兵衛), was a Japanese samurai during the Sengoku period of the 16th century. Hanbei was the castle lord in command of Bodaiyama Castle. He was a chief strategist and adviser of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. His father was a local samurai Takenaka Shigemoto. He initially served the Saitō clan of Mino Province, but later plotted an uprising and took over the Saitō clan's Gifu Castle.Takenaka clan

Shigeharu Murata
was a torpedo bomber pilot officer in the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) during World War II. He was the commander of torpedo bombers in the Attack on Pearl Harbor that crippled several United States Navy (USN) battleships and during the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands that resulted in the sinking of carrier ''Hornet''. He was killed in action during the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands. Early career Shigeharu Murata entered Imperial Japanese Naval Academy in April 1927 and graduated from the 58th class in November 1930. In April 1932, he completed the navy pilot training program at Kasumigaura Air Group and was commissioned as Ensign. He was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade in November 1933. Shigeharu Nakano
was a Japanese writer and Japanese Communist Party (JCP) politician. Nakano was born in Maruoka, now part of Sakai, Fukui. In 1914 he enrolled in middle school in Fukui, Fukui, and attended high school in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa and Kanazawa, Ishikawa. In 1924 he entered the German literature department of the University of Tokyo. In 1931 he joined the Japanese Communist Party, for which he was arrested in 1934. Immediately after World War II he rejoined the party, and played a leading role in founding the JCP-affiliated literary society New Japanese Literature Association (''Shin Nihon Bungakkai''). In 1947, Nakano began a three-year term as elected representative to the government. In 1958 he was elected to the party's Central Committee, but in 1964 was expelled due to political conflicts. Shigeharu Matsumoto
was an internationalist. He was founder of the International House of Japan and a pioneer in building constructive relations between Japanese and others through shared knowledge of their diverse histories, needs and national aspirations. He was an influential journalist and an active participant in the internationalization of Japan in the latter part of the twentieth century. He was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award in 1980. is a former Japanese football player and manager. He played for Japan national team. Club career Ueki was born in Kawasaki on September 13, 1954. After graduating from Nihon University, he joined Fujita Industries in 1977. The club won the league champions in 1977, 1979 and 1981. The club also won 1977 and 1979 Emperor's Cup. Shigeharu Mukai
is a Japanese jazz trombonist. Mukai attended Doshisha University but left before obtaining his degree to become a professional musician. Early in his career he worked with Yoshio Otomo, Ryo Kawasaki, and Hiroshi Fukumura, then led his own ensemble, including a performance at the Shinjuku Jazz Festival. He went on to work with Terumasa Hino, Akira Sakata, Kazumi Watanabe, and Yosuke Yamashita, as well as the ensemble Spik and Span and international musicians such as João Bosco, Billy Hart, and Elvin Jones.
