Sheys Rezaei
Sheys Rezaei Khonakdar ( fa, شيث رضایی خنکدار, born 2 April 1984 in Sari, Iran) is an Iranian footballer and singer. Club career Sheys is originally from Hamid Abad (one of Sari's suburbs). He has played most of his career for Persepolis and started to be known in 2005–06 season and became more famous after problems in 2007–08 season. He has featured in U17, U23 and the A team of Iran. In June 2008 he was on trial with Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart. He joined Saba Battery in August 2008. After spending one season with Saba and playing in the AFC Champions League he moved back to Persepolis. After completing the season with Persepolis in 2011–12, he was released by the club and joined the Azadegan League side, Shahrdari Tabriz. The 2006–07 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 24th season of Iran's Football League and sixth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Esteghlal were the defending champions. Hazfi Cup
Hazfi Cup (Jām-e Hazfi; ) is the Iranian football knockout cup competition, run by the Iranian Football Federation. The Iranian football league was not held during the 1980s, hence the winner of Hazfi Cup represented Iran in the Asian Club Championship. After the revive of the league system, the champion of Iranian league qualified for Asian Club Championship and the winner of Hazfi Cup ran for Asian Cup Winners' Cup. However, the Asian Cup Winners' Cup merged with the Asian Champions Cup in 2002–03 to form the AFC Champions League and Iran had been initially given two (and later four) slots in this competitions. Azadegan League
The Azadegan League ( fa, ليگ آزادگان, ''Lig-e Âzâdegân''), also known as League 1 ( fa, لیگ یک, ''Lig-e Yek''), is the second highest division of professional football in Iran. It was the top-level football league in Iran from its foundation in 1991 until 2001, when the Persian Gulf Pro League was established. Each year, the top finishing teams in the Azadegan League are promoted to the Persian Gulf Pro League, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to League 2.
