Sherman Chung
Sherman Chung Shu-man, (; born 20 June 1984) is a Hong Kong cantopop singer. She started her career after winning the 2005 EEG Singing Contest (aka 24th annual New Talent Singing Awards Hong Kong Regional Finals). During 2006, she underwent a series of intensive training and released her first single "The Throes of Master" (高手過招) in 2007. Summary Sherman Chung's childhood dream was to be painter and pianist. When Chung was 21 years old in 2005, she participated in TVB International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship of Emperor Entertainment Group Co., Ltd. (EEG), and won the championship by singing Faye Wong's original song "Wonderful for Him" (Golden Mi Award), and join Emperor Entertainment Group to practice for a year. In 2007, Chung officially debuted with "The Throes of Master". It's a Beautiful Day is an American band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1967, featuring vocalist Pattie Santos along with violinist David LaFlamme and his wife, Linda LaFlamme, on keyboards. David LaFlamme, who as a youth had once performed as a soloist with the Utah Symphony Orchestra, had previously been in the group Orkustra playing five-string violin. The other members of It's a Beautiful Day in its early years were Val Fuentes (drums), Mitchell Holman (bass) and Hal Wagenet (guitar). Although they were one of the notable San Francisco bands to emerge from 1967's Summer of Love, the band never achieved the success of contemporaries such as the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Santana, with whom they had connections. ''The Stool Pigeon'' () is a 2010 Hong Kong-Chinese action thriller film directed by Dante Lam and starring Nicholas Tse, Nick Cheung and Gwei Lun-mei. The film is about police detective, Don Lee (Cheung), who uses informants to gain information about gangsters. Lee begins to feel guilty when his informants are caught, but sends out a street racer named Ghost (Tse) as an informant to gain information about a gangster name Barbarian ( Lu Yi). ''72 Tenants of Prosperity'' (72家租客) is a 2010 Hong Kong comedy film produced by the Shaw Brothers Studio, Television Broadcasts Limited, United Filmmakers Organization, Sil-Metropole Organisation and Sun Wah Media Group. It was directed by Eric Tsang and stars Tsang himself and various other actors. It was released in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand on 11 February 2010.
