Sheriff Oborevwori
Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori (born 19 June 1963) is a Nigerian politician who is the current Governor of Delta State. He is the immediate past Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly as a representative of the Okpe Constituency of Delta State under the People's Democratic Party (Nigeria). He was declared the governor elect of Delta state on 20 March 2023 after winning the gubernatorial elections that was conducted on 18 March 2023. Early childhood and education Sheriff Oborevwori was born on 19 June 1963, to the family of Chief Samuel and Mrs. Esther Oborevwori of Osubi town in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State. He began his early childhood education at Alegbo primary school and completed his secondary education at Oghareki Grammar School, Oghareki. Monday John Onyeme (born 30 March 1965) is a Nigerian politician and chartered accountant who has been the Deputy Governor of Delta State since May 2023. He was sworn in on May 29 alongside the Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori after winning the 2023 gubernatorial election in March 2023. The Delta State University, Abraka - popularly known as DELSU - is a State government-owned university in Nigeria with the main campus located at Abraka, Delta State and it's sub campus at Oleh.
