Sheridan Mortlock
Sheridan Mortlock (born 19 May 2000) is an Australian model, international relations student, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth Air 2022. By winning Miss Earth – Air 2022, she becomes the third Australian beauty queen to get the Miss Earth – Air title after 2017 and 2015. Early life and education Sheridan and her family traveled around Australia via camper trailer when she was 9 years old. She was homeschooled together with her two younger brothers as they explored the diversity and beauty of Australia. They settled in Jerilderie soon after. In September 2018, she graduated from Finley High School in Finley, New South Wales. She eventually entered the University of Wollongong in Wollongong, New South Wales to obtain double bachelor's degrees in global sustainability and politics. Miss Earth is an annual international major beauty pageant based in the Philippines that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International, it is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Marisa Paige Butler (born January 10, 1994) is an American model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned both United States representatives at Miss World, Miss World America 2018 and Miss Earth USA, Miss Earth USA 2021. As a national titleholder, Butler represented the United States at Miss World 2018, placing in the top thirty, and then represented the United States at Miss Earth 2021. Swift Parrot
The swift parrot (''Lathamus discolor'') is a species of broad-tailed parrot, found only in southeastern Australia. The species breeds in Tasmania during the summer and migrates north to south eastern mainland Australia from Griffith-Warialda in New South Wales and west to Adelaide in the winter. Miss Earth 2020
Miss Earth 2020, the 20th anniversary of the Miss Earth pageant, the first virtual coronation of any major pageant in the world. The pageant was held on 29 November 2020 where Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico was succeeded by Lindsey Coffey of the United States at the end of the event. This marked the first time a delegate representing the United States won Miss Earth, becoming the fourth country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants at least once. In the same event, other elemental winners were also crowned: Stephany Zreik of Venezuela won Miss Earth – Air, Roxanne Baeyens of the Philippines as Miss Earth – Water, and Michala Rubinstein of Denmark as Miss Earth – Fire.
