Shenzhen North Railway Station
Shenzhenbei (Shenzhen North) Railway Station () is one of the four large intercity railway stations of Shenzhen, located in Longhua District. It has 11 platforms and 20 lines. It is an interchange station between the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link, the Hangzhou–Fuzhou–Shenzhen High-Speed Railway, future Shenzhen–Zhanjiang high-speed railway and the Shenzhen Metro Lines 4, 5 and 6. Construction started in 2007 and was completed in June 2011. The Line 4 platforms opened on 16 June 2011, Line 5 platforms opened on 22 June 2011, CRH platforms opened on 26 December 2011 and Line 6 platforms opened on 18 August 2020. Longhua District, Shenzhen
Longhua District is a district in Shenzhen, Guangdong, People's Republic of China. It was created as a new district on 30 December 2011, and became a formal district on 11 October 2016. History Longhua was established as a new district on 30 December 2011 by the Shenzhen municipal government, being separated from Bao'an District. It was one of the four "new districts" established within Shenzhen (Longhua New District, Guangming New District, Pingshan New District and Dapeng New District), due to the rapid expansion of city urban area after the 2000s. Shenzhen West railway station () is a railway station in Shenzhen on the Pingnan railway. Constructed as a freight station in 1989, Passenger station was built during 1993, opening in 1994 for passenger use. In late 2003 it was renovated and enlarged from a few hundred square metres in area to about . Pinghu–Nanshan Railway
Pingnan railway or Pinghu–Nanshan railway is a railway line in Shenzhen connecting Pinghu with Nanshan. Freight and long-distance passenger train services are provided. Line 4 of Shenzhen Metro, formerly branded as Longhua line, runs South–North from to . The line serves Futian District and Longhua District of Shenzhen. The line originally used 4-car trains, making it extremely crowded although it still carried over 250,000 people daily peaking at 516,100 on 5 May 2014. Stations feature electronic passenger information systems which display estimated train arrival times. When the second phase of the line opened in 2011, there were only eight trains which were completely unable to meet passenger demand. By 2012, 24 trains were in service. Bao'an District
Bao'an District () is one of the nine districts comprising the city of Shenzhen, Guangdong province. It is one of the districts formerly lying outside the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. History Bao'an was the historical name of Bao'an County (also known as Xin'an County) of the Qing dynasty, which included area of modern-day Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The area of today Bao'an District, was integrated into Shenzhen in 1979, which the Bao'an County was promoted as a city.
