Shengyu Lim
Lim Shengyu (born 7 December 1990) is a Singaporean professional basketball player who plays forward, most recently for the Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League (ABL). After winning the Most Valuable Player Award in both his two years playing for Hwa Chong Institution, Shengyu was selected as one of three Singaporean players to attend the Adidas Nations basketball camp in Shanghai and represent Singapore to participate in the NBA Without Borders Camp in New Delhi in 2008. Lim also spent 10 years in the Singapore National Basketball (Senior) team, winning 2 bronze medals for his country in both the 2013 and 2015 editions of the Southeast Asian Games. Lim is best known for his sharp-shooting, especially his ability to make the three-point shot. Singapore National Basketball Team
The Singapore men's national basketball team is the national team for Singapore in basketball. It is managed by the ''Basketball Association of Singapore'' (BAS), formerly the Singapore Amateur Basketball Association (SABA). At the Asian Basketball Championship, the country had its greatest success between 1971 and 1993 when it qualified for 12 straight events. The 2011 Southeast Asian Games, ( id, Pesta Olahraga Asia Tenggara 2011) officially known as the 26th Southeast Asian Games, or the 26th SEA Games, and commonly known as Jakarta-Palembang 2011, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held from 11 to 22 November 2011 in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia. It was Indonesia's fourth time to host the Southeast Asian Games, and its first since 1997. Previously, Indonesia also hosted in 1979 and 1987. Al Vergara
Al Vergara (born December 20, 1979) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He last played for the Muntinlupa Cagers of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Vergara started off his professional career with the Singapore Slingers in the inaugural Asean Basketball League and played there for two seasons before joining Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants in the Philippine Basketball Association on loan from the Slingers, for the 2009 PBA Fiesta Conference. Steven Khoo
Kiat Huat Steven Khoo (born 25 January 1985), nicknamed "Yakuza", is a Singaporean basketball player who last played for the Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League (ABL). Possessing both inside and outside skill sets, Khoo's all-round play places him arguably as the most fundamentally sound local player in the squad.
