Shelley Scott
Shelley Scott (born 16 March 1988) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Geelong in the AFL Women's competition. She was drafted by Melbourne with their sixth selection and forty-first overall in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in the fifteen point loss to at Casey Fields in the opening round of the 2017 season. She missed one match during the season, the round five match against due to a shoulder injury. Melbourne signed Scott for the 2018 season during the trade period in May 2017. In December 2018, Scott and Elise O'Dea were announced as Melbourne co-captains, while previous captain Daisy Pearce took maternity leave. VU Western Spurs
The VU Western Spurs are a Women's Australian rules football club who compete in the Northern Football League (Australia) and the AFL Masters Victoria competition . Based in Footscray, they play home games at Henry Turner Oval. They were formerly known as the St Albans Spurs who competed in the Victorian Women's Football League and reserves competition. History They were founded in 1993 by Debbie Lee who has become a significant figure in the progression and success of women's AFL. In 2015 the club was rebranded and relocated to Footscray, obtaining a sponsorship from the Maribyrnong City Council and Victoria University and were renamed the VU Western Spurs. Jordan Ivey (born 29 October 1992) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for Melbourne Football Club#AFL Women's team, Melbourne in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). She previously played for Carlton Football Club#AFL Women's team, Carlton and Geelong Football Club#AFL Women's team, Geelong. Daisy Pearce (born 27 May 1988) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Melbourne Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW) competition. Often regarded as the face of women's Australian rules football, Pearce has served as Melbourne captain since the competition's inaugural season, having previously captained the club in the women's exhibition games staged prior to the 2016 creation of the league. The Victorian Women's Football League (VWFL) was the oldest and largest Australian rules football league for women in the world, consisting of 47 clubs from Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia, across seven divisions and a total of over 1,000 players.
