Shelley King
Shelley King (born 25 September 1955) is a British actress, known for her roles as Jay Harper on the BBC drama series ''Angels'' and Yasmeen Nazir on the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Early and personal life King was born in Calcutta, India in 1955 to Kelly King, a photographer in India and the UK. Although she is of British and Indian heritage she is unable to speak any of the languages of India. She grew up in New Malden, Surrey, and attended Coombe Girls School. In April 2018, during an interview on ITV's '' This Morning'', King opened up about being a gay woman and discussed her own struggles and difficulties which she had with her own sexuality. While appearing in ''Angels'', King was in her mid–20s, and producers of ''Angels'' wanted to make her character gay, but due to struggling with her own sexuality, she declined. Coercive Control
Coercion () is compelling a party to act in an involuntary manner by the use of threats, including threats to use force against a party. It involves a set of forceful actions which violate the free will of an individual in order to induce a desired response. These actions may include extortion, blackmail, or even torture and sexual assault. For example, a bully may demand lunch money from a student where refusal results in the student getting beaten. In common law systems, the act of violating a law while under coercion is codified as a duress crime. Coercion can be used as leverage to force the victim to act in a way contrary to their own interests. ''All in Good Time'' is a British film directed by Nigel Cole and starring Reece Ritchie, Amara Karan, Harish Patel, and Meera Syal. It is based on Ayub Khan-Din's 2007 play ''Rafta, Rafta'', which was based on Bill Naughton's 1963 play ''All in Good Time'' and the 1966 film adaptation ''The Family Way''. Synopsis Atul (Reece Ritchie) and Vina (Amara Karan) are newly married and in love. But their marriage gets off to a slow start because they are living with Atul's parents in Bolton. Lack of privacy in the cramped household and Atul's overbearing father, Eeshwar (played by Harish Patel), prevent Atul and Vina to find a suitable time and place to consummate their marriage.
