Shekhar Koirala
Shekhar Koirala ( ne, डा. शेखर कोईराला) is a central working committee member of Nepali Congress and member of 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. Political life He represented Morang district constituency number 6, which constitutes Western part of political town of Biratnagar. He was elected in the 2013 Nepalese Constituent Assembly election from the area. He previously served as vice chancellor of BPKIHS, an autonomous Health Science University. He was the person to garner highest number of votes for the post member of Nepali Congress Central Working Committee. Legislature Parliament Of Nepal
The Second Constituent Assembly of Nepal, later converted to the Legislature Parliament ( ne, व्यवस्थापिका संसद), was a unicameral legislature of Nepal. It was elected in the 2013 Constituent Assembly elections after the failure of the first Constituent Assembly to promulgate a new constitution. Bir Hospital
Bir Hospital (बीर अस्पताल) is the oldest and one of the busiest hospitals in Nepal. It is located at the center of Kathmandu city. The hospital is run by the National Academy of Medical Sciences, a government agency since 2003. The hospital provides medical and surgical treatments. It current has a capacity of 535 beds. It provides some post graduate medical training e.g. general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, pathology etc. History Bir Hospital was established in 1947 B.S (1889AD) by Bir Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana and was initially called Prithvi Bir Hospital, Prithvi being the name of the then king Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah. It had 30 beds. An ordinance for the Constitution of a Bir Hospital Development Board was formulated in November of 1957 and was waiting the King's approval. Koirala family ( Nepali: कोईराला परिवार) is one of the prominent political families of Nepal in the Republican Era.
