Sheikh Abdullah is a Pakistani politician who had been a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, from May 2013 to May 2018. He was reelected for another term in February 2024. Early life and education He was born on 10 July 1965 in Karachi. He has a degree of Bachelor of Arts from Karachi University. Political career He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh as a candidate of Mutahida Quami Movement from Constituency PS-97 KARACHI-IX in 2013 Pakistani general election. In March 2017, he quit MQM to join Pak Sarzameen Party. The Provincial Assembly of Sindh ( ur, ) is a unicameral legislature of elected representatives of the Pakistani province of Sindh, and is located in Karachi, the provincial capital. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of Pakistan having a total of 168 seats, with 130 general seats, 29 seats reserved for women and 9 seats reserved for non-Muslims. Pak Sarzameen Party commonly known as PSP ( ur, ) is a Pakistani political party founded by Syed Mustafa Kamal and Anis Kaimkhani on 23 March 2016. Ashfaq Mangi, Hassan Sabir, Iftikhar Alam and Shabbir Qaimkhani are senior members of the party. The party headquarter is Pakistan House which is in Karachi. 2013 Pakistani General Election
General elections were held in Pakistan on Saturday 11 May 2013 to elect the members of the 14th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies. The three major parties were the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) led by Nawaz Sharif, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led by President Asif Ali Zardari and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led by Imran Khan. Prior to the elections, the ruling PPP formed an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) and Awami National Party, while the main opposition party, the PML-N allied with the Pakistan Muslim League (F) and Baloch parties.
