Shehili
''Shehili'' is the fifth studio album by Tunisian progressive metal band Myrath, released on 3 March 2019. The group began to work on it in early 2017 and originally planned to release it later that year. Myrath was already thinking of the album as they prepared its predecessor, ''Legacy''. According to them, songs from both efforts are connected, as are each of their main singles ("Believer" and "Dance", respectively). Background, songwriting and production After they finished touring for ''Legacy'' in 2017, members started to record ideas on their phones and later gathered for two weeks in a hotel room in Paris to discuss their compositions. After two weeks, producer Kevin Codfert finished orchestrations, arrangements and mixing and the final result was presented to Myrath's boss at earMUSIC, who praised everything but the drums. The latter were re-recorded in a studio in Hamburg with Eike Freese as a producer. In an interview for Japanese news portal Barks, Codfert said the ...

They eventually moved toward a progressive metal and oriental metal sound. In 2005 they released the EP ''Double Face'' via USB flash drives in Tunisia. The album gained some notice in Europe, ...

Legacy (Myrath Album)
''Legacy'' is the fourth studio album by Tunisian progressive metal band Myrath, released on 19 February 2016. The name of the album is also the name of the band when translated to English. As the band prepared it, they were already thinking of its successor ''Shehili''. According to them, songs from both efforts are connected. It was originally planned for a 12 February release. The song "Believer" was described as "an anthem for those who doubt, who are scared, who want to give up, who suffer." Following a crowdfunding campaign, the band spent € 45,000 to hire two ''Game of Thrones'' producers for the track's video. They initially wanted to create something that strayed from what they called Tunisian "clichés", but after receiving no replies from the local government with regards to authorization to shoot images in certain locations, they changed their concept. Reception ''Metal Hammer''s Dave Ling praised the blend of metal and oriental traditional elements, saying the ad ...

Bendir
The ''bendir'' ( ar, بندير, plural ''banadir'', ) is a wooden-framed frame drum of North Africa and Southwest Asia. The bendir is a traditional instrument that is played throughout North Africa, as well as in Sufi ceremonies; it was played, too, in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. In Turkish, the word ''bendir'' means "a big hand frame drum". Construction and play The bandir often has a snare (usually made of gut) stretched across the head, which gives the tone a buzzing quality when the drum is struck with the fingers or palm. The drum is played in a vertical position. One holds the drum by looping the thumb of the non-dominant hand through a hole in the frame. Similar frame drums include the tar of Egypt and the bodhrán of Ireland. Unlike the bendir, the tar does not have a snare on the back of the frame, and the bodhrán is played with a beater. Rhubarb
Rhubarb is the fleshy, edible stalks ( petioles) of species and hybrids (culinary rhubarb) of ''Rheum'' in the family Polygonaceae, which are cooked and used for food. The whole plant – a herbaceous perennial growing from short, thick rhizomes – is also called rhubarb. Historically, different plants have been called "rhubarb" in English. The large, triangular leaves contain high levels of oxalic acid and anthrone glycosides, making them inedible. The small flowers are grouped in large compound leafy greenish-white to rose-red inflorescences. The precise origin of culinary rhubarb is unknown. The species ''Rheum rhabarbarum'' (syn. ''R. undulatum'') and '' R. rhaponticum'' were grown in Europe before the 18th century and used for medicinal purposes. By the early 18th century, these two species and a possible hybrid of unknown origin, ''R.'' × ''hybridum'', were grown as vegetable crops in England and Scandinavia. They readily hybridize, and culinary rh ...
