Sheffield Forgers
Sheffield Forgers RLFC is a rugby league club in Sheffield, England. It has an Open Age team that plays in the summer in thy Yorkshire Men's League. The genesis of the club dates back to summer 2004, when a group of Sheffield Eagles supporters decided to try their hand at playing rather than just watching. As the team, called Sheffield IMBRL, was open to anyone the standard of players was unknown so the initial concept was to provide games against other supporters teams. These games were arranged via an Internet Message Board, hence Internet Message Board Rugby League. Ethos The club is built on accessibility to rugby league regardless of race, age or gender. It runs open age contact and EuroTag teams as well as intending to run junior teams again in the near future. Season 2004 The first-ever game for the club was played at Hillsborough Arena, home of the Hillsborough Hawks, against the Swinton Lions supporters. It ended in a narrow victory for the Lions 22–20. Peterlee Pumas
Peterlee Pumas are a rugby league team based in Peterlee, County Durham. They play in the North East Premier of the Rugby League Conference. History Peterlee Pumas was formed in association with Durham Rugby League Service Area and the Rugby League Development Program. They started training in summer of 2002 and the open age men's team played friendlies in the first year before joining the North East division of the Rugby League Conference in 2004 getting through to the North East final and gaining promotion to the new North Premier. The club achieved club mark status in 2004 and was presented with the award at half time at the Tri Nations Game between Great Britain and New Zealand. In 2005 the Pumas were the only team from the North East of England to beat Cumbrian opposition, however, the following year they dropped down and rejoined the North East division. Derby City RLFC are an amateur rugby league club based in Derby, England. They were founded in 1990 and currently compete in the Midlands Rugby League Premier Division. They have been ground sharing with Ilkeston RUFC at The Stute since 2014. History ''Derby City RLFC'' were founded in 1990 in the Blessington Carriage pub, Derby. Paul Crowe went on to become Derby's first coach and the first home games were played on the council pitch at Marketon Park. Early in its history the club nearly tasted success at St Ives, finishing a close second in the St Ives Sevens. Derby City went on to win the East Midlands Championship in season 1998/9 and in the summer of 1999 was invited to join the Northern Division of the fledgling Rugby League Conference. Season 2000 saw the addition of Rotherham Giants to the division which resulted in 20 – 0 and 4 – 30 losses and Derby managed only the double over Crewe all season. Kirkburton is a village, civil parish and ward in Kirklees in West Yorkshire, England. It is south-east of Huddersfield. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, the township comprises the villages of Kirkburton and Highburton and several hamlets, including Thunder Bridge, Thorncliffe, Storthes Hall, Burton Royd, Riley, Dogley, Common Side, Causeway Foot, Lane Head and Linfit. Garforth () is a town in the metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It sits in the Garforth and Swillington ward of Leeds City Council and the Elmet and Rothwell parliamentary constituency.
