Shebang (album)
''Shebang'' is a solo studio album by Australian musician Oren Ambarchi. It was released on 30 September 2022, through Drag City. It received universal acclaim from critics. Background The inspiration for ''Shebang'' came when Oren Ambarchi saw Julia Reidy playing a concert on 12-string guitar. The album includes contributions from Ambarchi (on guitar), Joe Talia (on drums), Sam Dunscombe (on bass clarinet), B. J. Cole (on pedal steel guitar), Johan Berthling (on double bass), Chris Abrahams (on piano), Jim O'Rourke (on synthesizer), and Reidy (on 12-string guitar). It is said to be an extension of past "long-form rhythmic workouts" found on Ambarchi's albums ''Quixotism'' (2014) and ''Hubris'' (2016). Critical reception Vanessa Ague of ''The Quietus'' commented that "There's something enticing about the ways ''Shebang'' offers each artist their own space yet still maintains cohesiveness, finding the connections between each line to form a quilt made of each artist's ind ...

Shebang (Unix)
In computing, a shebang is the character sequence , consisting of the characters number sign (also known as sharp or hash) and exclamation mark (also known as bang), at the beginning of a script. It is also called sharp-exclamation, sha-bang, hashbang, pound-bang, or hash-pling. When a text file with a shebang is used as if it were an executable in a Unix-like operating system, the program loader mechanism parses the rest of the file's initial line as an interpreter directive. The loader executes the specified interpreter program, passing to it as an argument the path that was initially used when attempting to run the script, so that the program may use the file as input data. For example, if a script is named with the path ''path/to/script'', and it starts with the line #! /bin/sh, then the program loader is instructed to run the program ''/bin/sh'', passing ''path/to/script'' as the first argument. The shebang line is usually ignored by the interpreter, because the "#" cha ...

Lean-to
A lean-to is a type of simple structure originally added to an existing building with the rafters "leaning" against another wall. Free-standing structures open on one or more sides (colloquially referred to as lean-tos in spite of being unattached to anything) are generally used as shelters. A lean-to addition is an appendix to an existing structure constructed to fulfill a new need. Sometimes, it covers an external staircase, as in a 15th century addition against one of the walls of the large chapter room of the cathedral of Meaux. Other uses include protecting entrances, or establishing covered markets outside existing buildings. Examples A lean-to is originally defined as a structure in which the rafters lean against another building or wall, also referred to in prior times as a penthouse."Lean-to" def. A. ''Oxford English Dictionary'' Second Edition on CD-ROM (v. 4.0), Oxford University Press 2009 These structures characteristically have shed roofs, also referred to as "s ...

She Bangs
"She Bangs" is a song recorded by Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin for his sixth studio album, '' Sound Loaded'' (2000). The song was written by Desmond Child, Walter Afanasieff, and Draco Rosa, while the production was handled by Afanasieff and Rosa. It was released to radio stations by Columbia Records as the lead single from the album on September 22, 2000. A dance track with Latin and salsa music influences, its lyrics see Martin wanting to hold on to a woman, and the song is a "metaphor for the universe". The song received widely positive reviews from music critics, who often noted similarities with Martin's 1999 single " Livin' la Vida Loca", and received a nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 2001 Grammy Awards. "She Bangs" was commercially successful, reaching number one in seven countries, including Italy and Sweden, as well as the top five in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and several other countries. A Spanish-language version of "She ...
