''She Is'' () is the debut studio album by South Korean singer-songwriter Jonghyun. It was released on May 24, 2016, by SM Entertainment and distributed by KT Music, and is the only studio album to be released during Jonghyun's lifetime. The album was commercially successful, reaching number one on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart, and received acclaim from music critics. It was nominated for an Album Bonsang at the 31st Golden Disc Awards. Background and release Jonghyun released the album through a variety of music sites on May 24 and officially began promotions with his appearance on Mnet's '' M Countdown'' on May 26. The album consists of nine songs and is described by Jonghyun as the album where "one can feel his passion as a singer-songwriter the most" and covers various genres such as electro-punk, EDM and R&B. Kim Jong-hyun (April 8, 1990 – December 18, 2017), known Mononymous person, mononymously as Jonghyun, was a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, radio host, and author under the SM Entertainment label. He was the main vocalist of the South Korean boy band Shinee for nine years, releasing twelve albums with the group in both Korean and Japanese. He also participated in SM Entertainment's project group, SM the Ballad, for the release of two Extended play, EP albums. Jonghyun was also a solo artist, beginning in January 2015 with the release of his first EP album, ''Base (EP), Base''. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. Downtempo
Downtempo (or downbeat) is a broad label for electronic music that features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than would typically be found in dance music. Closely related to ambient music but with greater emphasis on rhythm, the style may be played in chillout clubs or as "warm-up or cool-down" music during a DJ set. Tropical house, also known as trop house, is a subgenre of house music, and a derivation of tropical music, with elements of dancehall and Balearic house.
