Shawne Kleckner
Shawne P. Kleckner (born May 22, 1972 in Webster City, Iowa) is an American entrepreneur, co-founder and former president of Right Stuf, Inc., a company that distributes anime, manga, and figures/merchandise throughout the world. Biography Kleckner attended Southeast Polk High School and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in History. In the late 1980s, Kleckner worked for Century Systems, a Des Moines, Iowa-based computer reseller. Robert Ferson, owner of Century Systems, was a fan of the 1960s television show ''Astro Boy''. Originally a shell company created to buy and resell telescopes, Right Stuff (the original company name) was reborn as an animation sales company. While Ferson is no longer with the company, ''Astro Boy'' remains one of Right Stuf's top sellers. Webster City, Iowa
Webster City is a city in Hamilton County, Iowa, United States. The population was 7,825 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Hamilton County. Webster City is known as 'Boone River Country', as the Boone River meanders along the east side of the city. History Webster City was originally called Newcastle by settlers of European descent. Under the latter name it was changed in 1854 by Wilson Brewer. In 1855, Walter C. Willson came to Newcastle. Willson was elected to the Iowa State House the next year and, with John F. Duncombe, crafted a bill to divide the very large Webster County in half. Newcastle would be renamed "Webster City," named after Daniel Webster of Massachusetts and would become the county seat of the new county. Willson suggested "Hamilton County" after William W.
