Shawna Gordon
Shawna Gordon (born January 18, 1990) is an American former professional soccer player. She played as a midfielder for the Boston Breakers and Sky Blue FC in America, the Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia, and Umeå IK in the Swedish Damallsvenskan. Early life Born in Fontana, California, in San Bernardino County, Gordon was raised in the nearby city of Rancho Cucamonga. She attended Los Osos High School where she played for the varsity soccer team all four years and led the team to two league championships. Gordon was named to the league's first-team four times and was named most valuable player (MVP) as a senior. Gordon played club soccer for the Arsenal and played in regional and Olympic Development Program (ODP) camps for five years. Fontana, California
Fontana is a city in San Bernardino County, California. Founded by Azariel Blanchard Miller in 1913, it remained essentially rural until World War II, when entrepreneur Henry J. Kaiser built a large steel mill in the area. A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia. The W-League was established in 2008 by Football Australia (then known as Football Federation Australia) and was originally composed of eight teams of which seven had an affiliation with an existing A-League Men club. Shemar Franklin Moore (born April 20, 1970) is an American actor. Jim Gabarra
James Michael Gabarra (born September 22, 1959) is an American retired soccer forward who coached the Washington Spirit National Women's Soccer League team, and previously coached Sky Blue FC and the Washington Freedom women's soccer teams. He played professionally in the American Soccer League, United Soccer League, American Indoor Soccer Association, Major Indoor Soccer League and Western Soccer Alliance. Early career A native of Key West, Florida, Gabarra attended Connecticut College where he played soccer from 1978 to 1981. In 1989, Connecticut College inducted Gabarra into its Athletic Hall of Fame. After finishing college in the spring of 1982, Gabarra was signed by the Detroit Express of the American Soccer League (ASL). The 2014 Damallsvenskan, part of the 2014 Swedish football season, was the 27th season of Damallsvenskan since its establishment in 1988. The season started on 13 April 2014 and ended on 19 October 2014. LdB Malmö, which was renamed to FC Rosengård in December 2013, were the defending champions and won the title with several match days before the end of the season.
