Shawn Lee (musician)
Shawn Lee (born 1963) is an American musician, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. He is the co-founder of London-based soft rock duo Young Gun Silver Fox, along with Andy Platts. He is known for creating the entire score for the acclaimed video game ''Bully''. His song, Kiss the Sky, was featured in the Telltale video game ''Tales from the Borderlands''. He is currently working on an upcoming album ''Janktone Productions'', composed primarily of cheap and fun home-made instruments. There is no set release date. He currently lives in London, England. Career Shawn Lee was born to a mother of Lebanese and American Indian ancestry and a father of Irish American ancestry. Lee has relocated twice in pursuit of his career. He moved to Los Angeles in 1988 where he worked with The Dust Brothers and Jeff Buckley. Production music (also known as stock music or library music) is recorded music that can be music licensing, licensed to customers for use in film, television, radio and other media. Space rock is a music genre characterized by loose and lengthy song structures centered on instrumental textures that typically produce a hypnotic, otherworldly sound. Lounge music is a type of easy listening music popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Reggae
Reggae () is a music genre that originated in Jamaica during the late 1960s. The term also denotes the modern popular music of Jamaica and its Jamaican diaspora, diaspora. Exotica is a musical genre that was popular during the 1950s to mid-1960s with Americans who came of age during World War II. The term was coined by Simon "Si" Waronker, Liberty Records co-founder and board chairman, named after the 1957 Martin Denny album ''Exotica''. The musical colloquialism ''exotica'' means tropical ersatz, the non-native, pseudo experience of insular Oceania, Southeast Asia, Hawaii, the Amazon basin, the Andes, the Caribbean and tribal Africa. Downtempo (or downbeat) is a broad label for electronic music that features an atmospheric sound and slower beats than would typically be found in dance music.
