Shaun Wessell
Shaun Wessell () (born 17 May 1981) is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s. He played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. His position of choice was . Playing career Wessell was a Dapto junior. He made his first grade debut from the bench in his side's 36−32 loss the Melbourne Storm at Toyota Park in round 1 of the 2003 season. He played only two more games of first grade, the last of which was in his side's 25−16 victory over the St. George Illawarra Dragons at Toyota Park in round 23 of the 2003 season. Wessell was released by the Sharks at the end of the 2003 season, and subsequently never played first grade rugby league again. After his departure from the Sharks, Wessell went on to play for the Dapto Canaries in the Illawarra Rugby League competition. Melbourne Storm
The Melbourne Storm are a rugby league club based in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia that participates in the National Rugby League. The first fully professional rugby league team based in the state, the Storm entered the competition in 1998. The Storm were originally a Super League initiative, created in 1997 during the Super League war, however, following the Super League collapse, the team became a part of the newly formed, united competition. The club play their home games at AAMI Park. The Storm have won four premierships since their inception, in 1999, 2012, 2017 and 2020, and have contested several more grand finals, but were stripped of the 2007 and 2009 premierships following salary cap breaches. The Dapto Canaries are an Australian rugby league football team based in the Wollongong suburb of Dapto. The club are a part of Country Rugby League and have competed in the Illawarra Rugby League premiership since its inception in 1911. History, colours and emblem The Dapto Canaries were established in 1911 and are one of five founding clubs of the Illawarra Rugby League. However, it took the Canaries many decades to win their first title in 1966, and they have been strong competitors ever since. Illawarra Rugby League
The Illawarra Rugby League is a rugby league competition in Wollongong, NSW. It is one of the oldest rugby league competitions in Australia, founded in 1911 with five clubs (Dapto, Helensburgh, Mount Keira, Unanderra and Wollongong). The area provides a nursery of juniors for the Illawarra Steelers and St George Illawarra Dragons. The season is contested by seven teams and concludes with a finals series involving the top four teams. The eleventh season of ''The Voice (Australian TV series), The Voice'' began airing on 18 April 2022. In October 2021, it was announced Seven Network had once again picked up the series for its eleventh season, set to broadcast in 2022. At the same time, it was announced that Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora, and Guy Sebastian would all return as coaches. Sonia Kruger was also announced to return as host. Similar to last season, the finale was pre-recorded and the winner was determined by a viewer poll.
