Shaun Smith (Australian Footballer)
Shaun Smith (born 22 June 1969) is a former Australian rules footballer in the VFL/AFL. Originally from the Ainslie Football Club in the Australian Capital Territory, but recruited from Werribee and debuting in the Australian Football League in 1987, Smith is best known for his incredible leap and ability to take spectacular marks or speckies. His high leaping play enabled him to hold down a key position whilst being only 184 cm and is sometimes compared to Russell Robertson. Smith debuted with the North Melbourne Football Club in 1987 and was delisted due to a string of injuries at the end of 1992 after 47 games and 38 goals. He played for Werribee in 1994, and had a dominant season there. He was one of the Association's leading goalkickers for the season, finished third in the J. J. Shaun Jamel Smith (born August 19, 1981) is a former American football defensive end in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs, and Tennessee Titans. He also was a member of the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He played college football at the University of South Carolina. Early years Smith attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York. He transferred after his sophomore season to Wichita Heights High School in Wichita, Kansas. He played as a defensive end. He enrolled at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. Shaun Smith (English Footballer)
Gareth Shaun Smith (born 9 April 1971) is an English former professional footballer. Smith spent the majority of his career at Crewe Alexandra, playing in 400 League games and more than 460 overall. The highlight of Smith's career came when he scored the winner for Crewe Alexandra in their 1-0 victory over Brentford in the 1997 Division Two play-off final. This took Crewe into the second tier of English football for the first time in around a century. He had also played in the 1993 Third division final at Wembley, which Crewe lost on penalties to York City. During the first division era Smith played mostly at left back for Crewe and was popular with the supporters despite never being a big star. He won the supporter's player of the year award in 2000–01.
