Shau Kei Wan East Government Secondary School (SKWEGSS, ) is a co-educational secondary school operated by the Government of Hong Kong in Hong Kong. Located in Shau Kei Wan, there are a total of 25 classrooms and 17 special rooms with a student enrollment of 660. The school was founded in 1963 and its medium of instruction is Chinese. History The school was established in 1963 and was originally named Shau Kei Wan Government Technical Secondary School and the courses included technical subjects. At that time, it temporarily shared the buildings of Hill Road Primary School and Tanner Road Police Government Primary School were used as temporary school buildings. Later, the Danish government funded the establishment of a permanent school building on Chai Wan Road, which was completed and opened in 1965. Chai Wan Road
Chai Wan Road () located in Hong Kong, is one of the major roads in Chai Wan on Hong Kong Island. It runs from Shau Kei Wan to Chai Wan through Chai Wan Gap; with one of the steepest inclines in Hong Kong on either side, with signs posted 1 in 10 gradient. It is therefore popularly referred to as ''Cheung Meng Che'' (長命斜), or long-lived incline. Pinky Lai (賴平, born 20 March 1951) is an automotive designer. Lai is noted for his design work at Ford, BMW, and Porsche AG. During Lai's tenure at Porsche from January 1989 until his retirement in 2014, he was chief designer responsible for the exterior designs of 996 series of the Porsche 911 as well as both the Porsche 987 Boxster and Cayman.
