''Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge'' is the second studio album by United Kingdom, British-based rock band Hundred Reasons, released on 1 March 2004, through Columbia Records. Following the album's release, the band were dropped by Columbia Records. In 2006 guitarist Larry Hibbitt stated that:there were a lot of things that were wrong with [the album]. A lot of it was to do with the fact that we had absolutely no working relationship with the label by the time it came out. There was loads of pressure to get ''Shatterproof'' out and get the ball rolling again. They just wanted a record - any record. It just got put out and forgotten about. It still sold 65,000 but nobody quite seems to realise that. Hundred Reasons
Hundred Reasons are an English alternative rock band from Aldershot, Hampshire, and Teddington, South West London, formed in 1999. The band consists of Colin Doran (vocals), Larry Hibbitt (guitar, vocals), Andy Gilmour (bass) and Andy Bews (drums). Having toured almost constantly for 14 months throughout the UK and Europe in support of their first releases EP1 (Cerebra), EP2 (Remmus) and EP3, (I'll Find You), Hundred Reasons released their debut album, '' Ideas Above Our Station'' (2002), to critical acclaim and commercial success. The album yielded the singles, "I'll find you", "If I Could", "Silver" and "Falter", and was followed by ''Shatterproof Is Not a Challenge'' in 2004. David Stuart Sardy (born 1967), more commonly known as D. Sardy, is an American composer, musician, songwriter, and multiple Grammy winning record producer. He came to prominence as the leader of 1990s noise rock band Barkmarket before turning mostly to production work, often with alternative rock, hard rock, electronic related genres, and then to scoring films. ''Kill Your Own'' is the third studio album by British-based rock band Hundred Reasons, released on 20 March 2006, on V2 Records. This is last album to feature guitarist Paul Townsend and the first to feature guitarist Larry Hibbitt as producer. Guitarist and producer Larry Hibbitt stated that the album is:"Quite an angry record. There are quite a few twisted moments and Colin's lyrics are a lot darker than before. At first the name seemed weird but after a while it just sort of made sense. It was the one that we just kept coming back to. It's a song about purposefully being a cunt to the people that you really love. It's when you really fuck people over, even when they're some of your closest mates." Producer of band's previous two albums, Dave Sardy, mixed three tracks on the album, as well as b-side, "Casual Friday". The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders.
