Shathi Rani Bormon (born June 19, 1998) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. She plays for the national team as an opening batter and made her Women's Twenty20 International (T20I) debut in 2023 in the series against India. She has since played five T20I matches. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Cricket At The 2022 Asian Games – Women's Tournament
A women's cricket event was held as part of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from 19 to 25 September 2023. Nine teams took part in the event, and the participating teams were seeded according to their T20I rankings as of 1 June 2023. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the bronze medal match. India won the gold medal in the event by defeating Sri Lanka, who won the silver medal in the final. The Bangladesh women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Bangladesh in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut when they played, and won, two matches against Thailand in July 2007 before participating in and winning the 2007 ACC Women's Tournament.
