Shartistry In Motion
''Shartistry in Motion'' is the second studio album by American drag queen Willam Belli, released on June 2, 2015. The album was self-released by Belli but experienced a much wider release than his previous album, ''The Wreckoning (Willam Belli album), The Wreckoning'' (2012), and was made available to buy on iTunes and Amazon.com, Amazon, and to stream on Spotify. Much alike Belli's debut album, ''Shartistry in Motion'' features a mixture of original songs and parodies. The album quickly became Belli's most successful album, debuting at number 1 on the ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' Comedy Albums chart. Willam Belli
Willam Belli (, born June 30, 1982), mononymously known as Willam, is an American drag queen, actor, singer-songwriter, reality television personality, author, and YouTuber. Willam came to prominence as a contestant on the fourth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' in 2012, but was disqualified in the "Frenemies" challenge. Before appearing on ''Drag Race'', Willam worked as an actor, most notably playing the recurring role of transgender woman Cherry Peck in Ryan Murphy's medical drama ''Nip/Tuck''. She has continued to perform in a variety of films, television series and web series, often in drag. In 2018, she appeared in the critically acclaimed film '' A Star Is Born''. DWV (group)
DWV was an American pop group based in Los Angeles, consisting of drag queens Detox, Willam Belli, and Vicky Vox. They found fame with the release of " Chow Down (at Chick-Fil-A)" in March 2012, a parody of "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips, satirizing Chick-fil-A's controversial stance on gay marriage. The single's music video went viral online. They followed this up with the January 2013 release of "Boy Is a Bottom", a parody of the Alicia Keys song " Girl on Fire", which proved to be even more popular, amassing 25.8 million views on YouTube, as of 2022. Between 2012 and 2014, DWV released seven singles together commercially, three of which charted on the ''Billboard'' Comedy Digital Songs chart. ''Jem'', also known as ''Jem and the Holograms'', is an American animated musical television series that ran from 1985 to 1988. The series is about record company owner Jerrica Benton, her singer alter-ego Jem, and the adventures of Jem and her band the Holograms. The series was a joint collaboration by Hasbro, Sunbow Productions and Marvel Productions, the same team responsible for ''G.I. Joe'' and ''Transformers''. Dubbing (re-recording and mixing) is a post-production process used in filmmaking and video production, often in concert with sound design, in which additional or supplementary recordings are lip-synced and "mixed" with original production sound to create the finished soundtrack. The process usually takes place on a dub stage. Capital Cities is an American Pop music, pop duo from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2008 by Ryan Merchant (vocals, keyboard, guitar) and Sebu Simonian (vocals, keyboard).
