Nick Sharratt
Nick Sharratt (born 9 August 1962) is a British author and illustrator of children's books, whose work is split between illustrating for writers, most notably Jacqueline Wilson from 1991 to 2021, and Jeremy Strong, but also Giles Andreae, Julia Donaldson and Michael Rosen. He was chosen to be the official illustrator for World Book and Copyright Day, World Book Day 2006, and has illustrated around 250 books, including over 50 books by Wilson, among them ''The Lottie Project'', ''Little Darlings (novel), Little Darlings'' and ''The Story of Tracy Beaker'' which was the most borrowed library book in the UK for the first decade of the 21st century. Bryan Edwards Sharratt (October 13, 1947 – August 16, 2007) was a United States Navy and Air Force officer, a lawyer, a Certified Public Accountant, a real estate broker, and a Democratic politician from Wyoming. After losing his Wyoming's at-large congressional district seat in the United States House of Representatives to Richard B. "Dick" Cheney in 1988, Sharratt campaigned for Bill Clinton for the presidency of the United States in 1992 and for John Kerry in 2004. Sharratt graduated from Duke University in 1968 and then earned a J.D. degree from the Duke University School of Law in 1971. Harry Sharratt
Harold Sharratt (16 December 1929 – 19 August 2002) was an English footballer who represented Great Britain at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Sharratt, who played as a goalkeeper, remained an amateur player throughout his career, working as a school teacher during the week. Sharratt played for non-league clubs including Wigan Athletic and Bishop Auckland, and also played as an amateur in the Football League for Blackpool, Oldham Athletic, Charlton Athletic and Nottingham Forest. Charrat is a former municipality in the district of Martigny in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. On 1 January 2021 the former municipality of Charrat merged into the municipality of Martigny. Geography Charrat had an area, , of . Of this area, 45.0% is used for agricultural purposes, while 40.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 12.0% is settled (buildings or roads) and 2.9% is unproductive land. The former municipality is located in the Martigny district, on the left bank of the Rhone.
