is a Japanese multinational corporation that designs and manufactures electronic products, headquartered in Sakai-ku, Sakai, Osaka Prefecture. The Sharp were a Melbourne three-piece pop, rockabilly band which formed in 1991 with Allan Catlin on double bass and lead vocals, Piet Collins on drums and Charlie Rooke on guitar and lead vocals. They issued two studio albums, '' This Is the Sharp'' (1993) and '' Sonic Tripod'' (1994). Their highest charting single, "Alone Like Me" (1994), reached the ARIA Singles Chart top 20. Sharp Delany (c. 1739–1799), was a colonel in the American Revolutionary War a legislator and the first Collector of Customs in Philadelphia, appointed by George Washington. Sharp Airlines is a regional airline founded in Hamilton, Victoria, Australia in 1990. Sharp operates scheduled airline services in the southern states of Australia. Sharp County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2010 census, the population was 17,264. The county seat is Ash Flat. Sharp Burial Ground
The Sharp Burial Ground, also known as the Albany Avenue Cemetery, is located on Albany Avenue (NY 32) in Kingston, New York, United States. It is a small burying ground used during the middle decades of the 19th century, before larger rural cemeteries had become common but after churchyards had become too full for further burials. Later, when they did open, many bodies were removed to consolidate them with larger family plots there. Two former congressmen are still among those buried at Sharp. It contains some interesting examples of funerary art from that period, particularly the large monument to its founder, Edward O'Neil. It fell into neglect and disrepair throughout much of the 20th century, but was cleaned and restored by a local historic preservation group in the 1990s.
