Sharon Lodge No. 28 IOOF is a historic Independent Order of Odd Fellows clubhouse located at Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia. It was designed and built in 1897, by noted West Virginia architect H. Rus Warne Harry Rus Warne (October 10, 1872 – April 25, 1954) was a Charleston, West Virginia-based architect. Parkersburg is a city in and the county seat of Wood County, West Virginia, Wood County, West Virginia. Romanesque Revival (or Neo-Romanesque) is a style of building employed beginning in the mid-19th century inspired by the 11th- and 12th-century Romanesque architecture. Unlike the historic Romanesque style, Romanesque Revival buildings tended to feature more simplified arches and windows than their historic counterparts. A parapet is a barrier that is an extension of the wall at the edge of a roof, terrace, balcony, walkway or other structure.
