The Prodigy
The Prodigy are an English electronic dance music band formed in Braintree, Essex, in 1990 by producer, keyboard player and songwriter Liam Howlett. The original line-up also featured dancer and singer Keith Flint and dancer and occasional live keyboard player Leeroy Thornhill, dancer Sharky and MC and vocalist Maxim. They were pioneers of the breakbeat-influenced genre big beat, and achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. Howlett's rock-inspired drum rhythms infused with electronic rave music beats/breaks were combined with Maxim's omnipresent mystique, Thornhill's shuffle dancing style, and Flint's later modern punk appearance. The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Cronulla, in the Sutherland Shire, Southern Sydney, New South Wales. They compete in the National Rugby League (NRL), Australasia's premier rugby league competition. The Sharks, as they are commonly known, were admitted to the New South Wales Rugby League premiership, predecessor of the Australian Rugby League and the current National Rugby League competition, in January 1967. The San Jose Sharks are a professional ice hockey team based in San Jose, California. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference, and are owned by San Jose Sports & Entertainment Enterprises. Sea Life at Mall of America (formally known as Sea Life Minnesota Aquarium) is a public aquarium located in the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, United States. The 1.3 million-US-gallon (4.9 ML) aquarium contains thousands of aquatic creatures, including sea turtles, sharks, sawfish, stingrays, jellyfish and seahorses. There are eleven exhibits featured at the aquarium. ''Sharky & George'' (Original name ''Sharky et Georges'') is a children's animated series, produced by animation studios CinéGroupe and Label 35 between 1990 and 1992. The series consisted of fifty-two 25 minute episodes, including two 12 minute editions which were sometimes aired separately. The series was later translated into English and shown in the United Kingdom on Channel 4 from 1991 to 1998. ''Sharky's Friends'' is an Australian children's television game show hosted by Miranda Deakin and featuring a quick-witted puppet shark who is named Sharky. The 30-minute show is produced by Ambience Entertainment is aimed at 8-14 year olds. Sharky competes against children contestants, who are addressed as 'friends', in word games. In each episode, there are two or three friends that separately compete against Sharky to win prizes. If Sharky wins, the contestant receives a "consolation" prize. The show began in a weekday afternoon timeslot but after two weeks after its debut, was moved to Saturday and Sunday morning timeslots.
