Shararat (2003 Film)
''Shararat'' (; ) is a Pakistani Urdu film which was released in early 2003 across theaters in Pakistan. This movie was Samina Peerzada's sophomore directorial venture, but unlike her hit debut '' Inteha'' (1999), it was met with a rather mixed reaction at the theaters. The film is a romantic comedy which deals with the story of a Pakistani-American who returns to her native village in Punjab in Pakistan and the subsequent twist and turns in her love life. Moammar Rana starred opposite Mehr Hassan, who made her Lollywood debut with Shararat. Samina Peerzada
Samina Peerzada (, Punjabi, ) is a film and television actress, producer and director from Pakistan. Personal life Samina was born into an educated Kashmiri Butt family in Lahore, but was raised in Karachi, Sindh Pakistan. After graduating in commerce she chose to pursue a career in acting. After many successful years of acting in television dramas and minor roles in television advertisements Samina was cast in starring roles in several films. She married Usman Peerzada, a fellow media personality, in 1975. The couple have two daughters, Anum and Amal. Their younger daughter ''Amal'' is a miniature artist. Career Samina started her career in 1982 and has acted in several films including ''Nazdikiyan'', '' Mukhra'', ''Bazar-e-Husn'', ''Shaadi Mere Shohar Ki'' and '' Bulandi''. ''Inteha'' ( ur, ) is a Pakistani Urdu film which was released in 1999 across theaters in Pakistan. The movie was Samina Peerzada's debut directorial attempt and established the careers of its two leading men Humayun Saeed and Zeeshan Sikander. These actors, incidentally, made their debuts with ''Inteha''. Synopsis ''Inteha'' is the story of Sara (Meera), a young woman from a well-off background, studying at a liberal arts college. Being the introverted sort and romantically inclined, she's a dreamer. With a dad who dotes on his daughter, and a pacifist boyfriend (Zeeshan Sikanadar), life just couldn't get any better for her. Shabnam Majeed
Shabnam Majeed is a Pakistani film and TV playback singer. Personal life Majeed had four children with her former husband Wajid Ali, a music director. Their son, Naqi Ali (Lucky Ali), died aged seven after falling down the stairs in 2010. She filed for khula (separation from husband) in February 2020. Majeed's brother, Abdul Waheed, was shot dead on 18 November 2020. 12 days later, two arrests were made in connection with the murder investigation. Shahid Mahmood Nadeem ( ur, ; born 1947) is a Pakistani journalist, playwright, screenwriter, theater and television director, and a human rights activist. He served as the general manager, program director, and deputy managing director of the Pakistan Television Corporation. He is currently director of the Ajoka Theater and director of the PTV Academy.
