Sharara
''Sharara'' is a 1984 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Rajendra Singh Babu, starring Raaj Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Mithun Chakraborty, Tina Munim, Vijayendra Ghatge, Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor and Kader Khan. The playwright of the movie is senior story writer late H. V. Subba Rao. The plot of the movie was inspired by the 1980 political thriller novel '' The Second Lady'' by Irving Wallace. Plot ''Sharara'' is an action film starring Raaj Kumar, Shatrughan Sinha in lead role and Mithun Chakraborty in friendly appearance Hema Malini most important character in the movie in a double role, Tina Munim, Amjad Khan and Ranjeet. Actress Hema Malini is understood to have produced the film. The title song of the film was very popular when released. Raaj Kumar
Raaj Kumar (born Kulbhushan Pandit; 8 October 1926 3 July 1996) was an Indian actor who worked in Hindi films. He appeared in the Oscar-nominated 1957 film '' Mother India'' and starred in over 70 Hindi films in a career that spanned over four decades. Personal life Kulbhushan Pandit was born in Loralai, Baluchistan, British India (now Pakistan) in a Kashmiri Pandit family. In the late 1940s, he moved to Bombay, where he became a sub-inspector under Bombay Police. He married Jennifer Pandit, an Anglo-Indian, whom he met on a flight where she was an air hostess. She later changed her name to Gayatri Kumar as per Hindu customs. S. V. Rajendra Singh Babu (born 22 October 1952) is an Indian filmmaker and occasional actor who works primarily in Kannada cinema. He was born and brought up in Mysore. His father Shankar Singh produced many films under the banner Mahatma Pictures (Mysore). Babu has written directed movies of different genres in Kannada and in Hindi that include love stories, war, suspense thrillers and comedy movies.
