''Sharaabi'' ( en, Drunkard, italic=yes) is a 1984 in film, 1984 Indian Hindi language, Hindi comedy drama film produced and directed by Prakash Mehra. This was Mehra's sixth film with Amitabh Bachchan. Sharaabi stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Prada in lead roles along with Pran (actor), Pran, Om Prakash and Ranjeet. Om Prakash (born Om Prakash Chibber 19 December 1919 – 21 February 1998) was an Indian film actor. He was born in Jammu as Om Prakash Chibber and went on to become a well-known character actor of Bollywood. Jaya Prada Nahata (born Lalitha Rani; 3 April 1962) is an Indian actress and politician. She is hailed as one of the most iconic and influential actresses in both Telugu and Hindi film industries in late '70s, '80s and early '90s. Bappi Aparesh Lahiri (born Alokesh Aparesh Lahiri; 27 November 1952 – 15 February 2022), also known as Bappi Da was an Indian singer, composer and record producer. He popularised the use of synthesised disco music in Indian music industry and sang some of his own compositions. He was popular in the 1980s and 1990s with filmi soundtracks. Chandrashekhar Vaidya (7 July 1922 – 16 June 2021), known simply as Chandrashekhar, was an Indian actor and filmmaker working in the Bollywood film industry.
