Shaoxing Tourism New Transit Railway
Shaoxing Urban Rail Line ( zh, 绍兴城际线), also known as Shaoxing Tourism New Transit railway ( zh, 绍兴风情旅游新干线) or Line S1, is a commuter rail service. It runs from Hangzhou South railway station in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou to Shangyu railway station in Shangyu District, Shaoxing on the existing Xiaoshan–Ningbo railway. There are also through operation to Ningbo–Yuyao intercity railway. Between 18 April 2018 and 29 September 2018, the train does not stop at any station except Shaoxing and Shangyu stations. On 29 September 2018, a third station was open for operation and extending the line with an additional 20 km. On 1 July 2020, the line extended to . The fare is 6 yuan for Qianqing to Shaoxing, 12 yuan for Shangyu and 8 yuan for Shaoxing to Shangyu. Xiaoshan District
Xiaoshan is one of ten urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province, East China. Xiaoshan was formerly a city in its own right, separated by the Qiantang River from Hangzhou proper, but the municipality was annexed by its more populous neighbor in 2001. Xiaoshan has a permanent population with residential rights of around 1,511,000 and an additional non-permanent population of about 876,500. Shaoxing (; ) is a prefecture-level city on the southern shore of Hangzhou Bay in northeastern Zhejiang province, China. Ningbo–Yuyao Intercity Railway
Ningbo–Yuyao intercity railway is a commuter rail service in Ningbo, Zhejiang, part of the planned Ningbo Intercity Railway network. It runs from Ningbo railway station in Haishu District to Yuyao railway station in Yuyao on the existing Xiaoshan–Ningbo railway. There are also through operation to Shaoxing Tourism New Transit railway. Passengers can transfer to Line 2 and Line 4 of Ningbo Metro at Ningbo railway station. It is the first line to provide " Higher-speed" commuter rail services, with trains travelling up to in Ningbo and capable of transporting up to 2,000 people. Shangyu District () is a district of the prefecture-level city of Shaoxing in the northeast of Zhejiang province, China. At the 2010 census, its population in the built-up (''or metro'') area was 779,412, up from 722,523 in the 2000 census. Hangzhou South Railway Station
Hangzhou South railway station () is a railway station located in the Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. History Xiaoshan railway station () opened in 1992. Xiaoshan station was renamed Hangzhou South station on January 1, 2010. The station closed for renovation work on July 1, 2013 when Hangzhou East railway station opened.
