Shankar Melkote
Shankar Melkote is an Indian comedian, supporting actor who appears in Telugu films and CEO of a marketing company in Hyderabad. He started his film career with Jandhyala's ''Srivariki Premalekha'' and went on to appear in 180 films. He is one of the speakers and writers at the Hyderabad Literary Festival. Melkote received the 17th Yudhvir Memorial Award in 2008 for outstanding contribution. He is the father-in-law of M.V.Sridhar, well noted Hyderabad ranji player and Former BCCI General Manager. Telugu Cinema
Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The nickname ''Tollywood'' is a portmanteau of the words Telugu and Hollywood. ''Dost'' () is a 2004 Indian Telugu language film produced by N. Radhakrishna Reddy under banner N.R.K. Cinemas, directed by Muppalaneni Siva.
