Shane Delahunt
Shane Delahunt (born 2 February 1994) is a professional rugby union player from Ireland. He primarily plays as a hooker. Delahunt currently plays for Irish provincial side Connacht in the Pro14. A product of the province's academy, Delahunt signed his first full contract with the side in December 2015, becoming a member of the senior squad in the 2016–17 season. Early life Delahunt was born and raised in Birr, County Offaly. A graduate of Kilkenny College, Delahunt captained the college team in the Leinster Senior Cup in 2012. Delahunt also played GAA in his youth, playing primarily at full forward for club and county up to under-14 level. Birr, County Offaly
Birr (; ga, Biorra, meaning "plain of water") is a town in County Offaly, Ireland. Between 1620 and 1899 it was called Parsonstown, after the Parsons family who were local landowners and hereditary Earls of Rosse. Birr is a designated Irish ''Heritage Town'' with a carefully preserved Georgian heritage. Birr itself has graceful wide streets and elegant buildings. Gaelic games ( ga, Cluichí Gaelacha) are a set of sports played worldwide, though they are particularly popular in Ireland, where they originated. They include Gaelic football, hurling, Gaelic handball and rounders. Football and hurling, the most popular of the sports, are both organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). All-Ireland League (rugby Union)
The All-Ireland League (AIL), known for sponsorship reasons as the Energia All-Ireland League, is the national league system for the 50 senior rugby union clubs in Ireland, covering both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The league was inaugurated in the 1990–91 season. The league is the second highest level of rugby union in Ireland, as professional teams representing the four provinces of Ireland play in the United Rugby Championship. Benetton Rugby, also known as Benetton Treviso ( or ), is an Italian professional rugby union team based in Treviso, Veneto competing in the United Rugby Championship, the European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Champions Cup. Treviso rugby team was founded in 1932 and has won 15 Italian national championships. The team has been owned by the Benetton clothing company since 1979. The 2014–15 Pro12 (also known as the ''Guinness Pro12'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season of the professional rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League, and the fifth with its current four-country format. It was the first season to be referred to as the ''Pro12'' to not have RaboDirect as the title sponsor, having been replaced by Guinness. Leinster were the defending champions having beaten Glasgow Warriors in the previous season's playoff final, to become the first team in the league to successfully retain the trophy. Jason Harris-Wright (born 19 September 1988) is a rugby union player from Ireland. He primarily plays as a hooker. Harris-Wright last played professionally for Bristol in the Greene King IPA Championship. Early life Harris-Wright grew up in Kilcoole in County Wicklow. He was a student at Presentation College in Bray and played at number 8 for the school rugby team as they reached the final of the Leinster Schools Junior Cup, only to be beaten by Blackrock College, one of the traditional powers in the schools game. In his final school year Harris-Wright moved to Blackrock himself, in the hopes of winning a Senior Cup with the school and increasing his chances of being noticed for representative teams and under-age Leinster squads. Seán Henry (born 16 December 1987) is a former Irish rugby union player. He played as a hooker. Whilst at Munster, Henry played his club rugby with UL Bohemians. Connacht Being from Sligo, Henry's native province was Connacht, and he represented the team at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 level, before switching to Munster. Munster Henry made his debut against Glasgow in September 2010.
