Shamim Ara Nipa
Shamim Ara Nipa is a Bangladeshi dancer and choreographer. She serves as a director of ''Nrityanchal Dance Company''. She was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Government of Bangladesh in the category of choreography in 2017. Career Nipa got her first lesson in dancing at Arts Council of Kishoreganj District. She studied under the dance instructors G A Mannan and Nikunja Bihari Pal. Later she received training at Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts. She received training from a North Korean dance trainer and the National Centre for the Performing Arts (China). Since 2011 Nipa, together with Shibli Mohammad, has been compering the weekly dance magazine program, ''Tarana'', on Bangladesh Television. Ekushey Padak
Ekushey Padak ( bn, একুশে পদক; lit. "Twentyfirst Award") is the second highest civilian award in Bangladesh, introduced in memory of the martyrs of the Bengali Language Movement of 1952. The award is given to recognize contributions in a number of fields, including culture, education, and economics. The Ministry of Cultural Affairs administers the award. The award consists of an 18 carat gold medal weighing 3 tolas and a certificate of honour. The medal was designed by the artist Nitun Kundu. The amount of the cash reward was originally ৳ 25,000, but it was subsequently increased to ৳ 100,000 in 2015. Next it was increased to tk 2,00,000 in 2017 and to tk 4,00,000 as of November 2019. Gazi Alimuddin Mannan
Gazi Alimuddin Mannan (also known as GA Mannan; – 1 March 1990) was a Bangladeshi dancer and choreographer. Early life and career Mannan got his dance training in Bombay under Shantibardhan. In Bombay, he adopted the stage name ''Manish Kumar''. He returned to Dhaka in the 1950s and joined Bulbul Lalitakala Academy in Dhaka and created some dances including peacock dance, spring dance, fishermen's dance, harvest dance, Santal dance and tea-garden dance. The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) (), and colloquially described as The Giant Egg (巨蛋), is an arts centre containing an opera house in the Xicheng District of Beijing, People's Republic of China. Shibli Mohammad is a Bangladeshi dancer and choreographer. He is the co-director of "Nrityanchal Dance Company". Early life and education Mohammad was born on 4th September 1958 in Mohammadpur, Dhaka to Shahid Salimullah (d. 1971) and Begum Jebunnesa Salimullah (d. 2023). Mohammad completed his bachelor's in physics from Jahangir Nagar University. He took dance lessons from Kartic Singh, Ajit Dey and Anita Dey at the Chhayanaut in Dhaka. He was awarded an Indian Government scholarship to train. He was taught by Shreemati Purnima Pande at the Bhatkhande Music Institute in Lucknow, India.
