Sir Geoffrey Hithersay Shakespeare, 1st Baronet (23 September 1893 – 8 September 1980) was a British Liberal Party politician. Life Born in Norwich, the second son of Rev. John Howard Shakespeare, secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, he was educated at Highgate School. He was a descendant of Richard Shakespeare, the grandfather of William Shakespeare. He served in the First World War. He studied at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where he graduated with an MA and an LLB degree. He was president of the Cambridge Union Society in Lent Term 1920. He was called to the Bar in 1922, was Private Secretary to David Lloyd George in 1921–1923, and worked as a political journalist. American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. Sly And Robbie
Sly and Robbie were a prolific Jamaican rhythm section and production duo, associated primarily with the reggae and dub genres. Drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare teamed up in the mid-1970s after establishing themselves separately in Jamaica as professional musicians. Shakespeare died in December 2021 following kidney surgery. Robert Warren Dale Shakespeare (27 September 1953 – 8 December 2021) was a Jamaican bass guitarist and record producer, best known as half of the reggae rhythm section and production duo Sly and Robbie, with drummer Sly Dunbar. Regarded as one of the most influential reggae bassists, Shakespeare was also known for his creative use of electronics and production effects units. He was sometimes nicknamed "Basspeare". Olivia Shakespear (; 17 March 1863 – 3 October 1938) was a British novelist, playwright, and patron of the arts. She wrote six books that are described as "marriage problem" novels. Her works sold poorly, sometimes only a few hundred copies. Her last novel, ''Uncle Hilary'', is considered her ''magnum opus''. She wrote two plays in collaboration with Florence Farr. Olivia was the daughter of a retired adjutant general, and had little formal education. She was well-read however, and developed a love of literature.
