Shai Avivi
Shai Avivi (born 29 April 1964 ) is an Israeli actor, comedian, television personality and TV host. Since 2012 he has been the narrator of the reality TV show "Come Dine With Me". Winner of the Ophir Award. Biography Avivi was born and raised in Acre as one of three children of Moshe Avivi, originally from Iran, and Ahuva, native Israeli. He did his military service in Nahal, during which he took part in fighting in the First Lebanon War. In 1991, after studying film and television at Tel Aviv University, Avivi made his acting debut in Eran Ricklis’ film “''Cup Final''”. His first big break came that same year, 1991, when he was one of the first hosts on the first incarnation of The Arutz HaYeladim, which he hosted for several years. Channel 2 ( he, ערוץ שתיים, Arutz Shtaim), also called "The Second Channel" ( he, הערוץ השני, HaArutz HaSheni) was an Israeli commercial television channel. It started doing experimental broadcasts funded by the television tax. The channel started commercial broadcasting on 4 November 1993 regulated and managed by The Second Authority for Television and Radio. In its first years, the channel was operated by three broadcasters (" Keshet", "Reshet", and "Telad"), and in 2005 only two broadcasters were left while "Telad" stopped broadcasting due to its loss in the Second Authority's auction. Pardes Hanna-Karkur ( he, פַּרְדֵּס חַנָּה-כַּרְכּוּר) is a town in the Haifa District of Israel. In it had a population of . History An Arab village named Karkur had stood at this location by the time the Palestine Exploration Fund had compiled its first maps in 1878. In 1913, 15 square kilometers of land was purchased by the Hachsharat Hayishuv society from Arabs in Jenin and Haifa for 400,000 francs (a sum equivalent to 2 million US dollars). Two years later, the land was sold to a private investor, Yitzhak Shlezinger, the Odessa Committee and the First London Ahuza society. ''Piposh'' ( he, פיפוש) is an Israeli media franchise that started as a series of comedic point-and-click adventure video games developed by Guillotine and published by Hed Arzi Multimedia for Windows. Based on an eponymous actor-turned-detective who embarks on several adventures solving murders, the titles include ''Piposh'', ''Piposh 2'', ''Halom SheItgashem'' (spinoff), and ''Piposh 3D: HaMahapecha''. Etgar Keret ( he, אתגר קרת, born August 20, 1967) is an Israeli writer known for his short stories, graphic novels, and scriptwriting for film and television. Personal life Keret was born in Ramat Gan, Israel in 1967. He is a third child to parents who survived the Holocaust. Both of his parents are from Poland. Keren Mor ( he, קרן מור; born March 18, 1964) is an Israeli actress and comedian. Biography During her mandatory military service in the IDF, Mor studied acting at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv. Mor is married to the Israeli actor Menashe Noy. Telad is an Israeli production company. The company is mostly known for being one of the three concessionaires whom ran the Israeli commercial television channel Channel 2 between the years 1993–2005. History The company was founded in the 1960s as a small production company in Jerusalem named "Idan" and provided services to the Israeli channel 1 and to TV stations worldwide.
