Shahin FC
Shahin Tehran Football Club ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال شاهین تهران, Shāhīn meaning ''Falcon''), also spelled Shaahin or Shaheen, from 1973 to 1979 known as Shahbaz ( fa, شهباز, Shahbāz, meaning '' Shahbaz''), is an Iranian football club based in Tehran, Iran. Shahin A.C. is located at East of Tehran in the Narmak neighborhood (Golestan Street). Shahin was the most popular clubs in Iran before the 1960s and it had a rivalry with Taj Tehran. Their match was the most important derby of Iran at the time. Shahin F.C. was dissolved in 1967 for political reasons. The club was revived again after the Iranian Revolution in 1979. Due to the Iran–Iraq War, the national league was not held during the 1980s, however, Shahin was one of the strongest teams in the provincial league of Tehran. Simorgh FC
Simurgh (; fa, سیمرغ, also spelled ''simorgh, simorg'', ''simurg'', ''simoorg, simorq'' or ''simourv'') is a benevolent, mythical bird in Persian mythology and literature. Hamid Shirzadegan
Hamid Shirzadegan (8 March 1941 – 28 September 2007) was an Iranian football player. During his career, he was nicknamed ''Paa Talaaee'' (Golden Feet). Club career Shirzadegan started out at Shahin FC youth teams and in 1957 at the age of just 16 was selected for the senior team. He moved to Persepolis FC after Shahin disbanded due to political issues. He was known for his powerful shots, as if it could rip the goal net. International career Shirzadegan debuted for Iran on December 8, 1959 against India. He scored 9 goals in 14 games for Iran, thus giving him an excellent goal scoring rate. After retirement In his last years of life, Shirzadegan's health deteriorated. Hossein Kalani ( fa, حسین کلانی; born January 23, 1945 in Tehran) is a retired Iranian football striker who played for Shahin, Persepolis, Paykan Tehran, Shahbaz and the Iran national football team. Jafar Kashani
Jafar Ashraf Kashani ( fa, جعفر اشرف کاشانی, March 21, 1944 – October 2, 2019) was an Iranian football player. He was scouted by Abbas Ekrami, Shahin F.C.'s founder when he was 16. After Shahin's dissolution, he joined Persepolis F.C. and played until 1974 when he was captain. Then he was employed by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked in embassies in Germany and UAE. He was also a member of board of directors at IRIFF and Persepolis. He died on 2 October 2019 due to a heart attack. Parviz Dehdari ( fa, پرویز دهداری) (March 21, 1935 – November 23, 1992) was an Iranian football player and coach. Early life He was born on 21 March 1935 in Marvdasht from an Abadani family. His family moved back to Abadan after his birth. He grew up in Abadan and began playing football in 1946. Playing career He initially to Jam Abadan in 1953. His good techniques in Jam and after winning the Local Cup in 1955, he was invited to Team Melli and made his debut in match against Soviet Union in November 1955. He played for Jam Abadan, Shahin Tehran and has served most of his career in Abadan. He was captain of Jam Abadan in 1960 and win the first championship in IRN championship cup. Mehrab Shahrokhi ( fa, محراب شاهرخی; February 2, 1944 – February 1, 1993) was an Iranian peoples, Iranian football (soccer), footballer. He was an Afro-Iranians, Afro-Iranian from Khuzestan Province. He was nicknamed ''The Black Bomber'' ( fa, بمب افکن سیاه, links=no) because of his style of play and dark skin and his strong kicks. Homayoun Behzadi (20 June 1942 – 22 January 2016) was an Iranian footballer and coach. He usually played as a striker. Early life He was born on 4 January 1942 in Khorramabad, Lorestan Province.
