Shahi Kabir
Shahi Kabir (born 28 September 1978) is an Indian film director and scriptwriter for Malayalam cinema. He is the screenwriter for 'Joseph' (2018) directed by M. Padmakumar and for 'Nayattu' (2021), he won the National Film Award for Best Screenplay(Original) - 2023 at the 69th National Film Awards. He made his directorial debut with 'Ela Veezha Poonchira' for which he received the Best Debut Director Award at the 53rd Kerala State Film Awards. Early life and career Kabir was born in Alappuzha, India. He married Sabeena A on July 8, 2007, and has two children. He wrote the script for ''Joseph'' (2018), and ''Nayattu'' (2021). Alappuzha

Joseph (2018 Film)
''Joseph'' is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film directed by M. Padmakumar and written by Shahi Kabir. It stars Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, Irshad, Athmiya Rajan, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, Malavika Menon, and Madhuri Braganza. The story, an investigation thriller, develops through the life of four retired policemen. Some scenes in movie (the double crime scene in beginning) is based on real life experience from the writer, Shahi Kabir. Joju won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor and also won Special Mention in the National Awards. Nayattu (2021 Film)
''Nayattu'' () is a 2021 Indian political survival thriller film directed and co-produced by Martin Prakkat and written by Shahi Kabir. It stars Kunchako Boban, Joju George and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles and features Jaffar Idukki, Anil Nedumangad and Hakkim Shajahan in supporting roles. Mahesh Narayanan and Rajesh Rajenndrran edit the film while Shyju Khalid handles the cinematography. Vishnu Vijay composed the original music and background score. Director Ranjith and P. M. 69th National Film Awards
The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was an event during which the National Film Development Corporation of India presented its annual National Film Awards to honour the best films of 2021 in Cinema of India, Indian cinema. The awards ceremony was originally slated to be held on 3 May 2022 but was postponed due to delays after the COVID-19 pandemic. The winners were announced on 24 August 2023, by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (India), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in a press conference.
