Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto International Cricket Stadium
Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto International Cricket Stadium is a cricket ground in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, Sindh, Pakistan. It was inaugurated by then- President Asif Ali Zardari on 26 December 2012. The stadium was named after the late Benazir Bhutto, who served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan for two terms. In 2013, the stadium hosted seven matches of the Faisal Bank One Day Cup, and four matches of the President's Cup One Day Tournament. It also hosted 12 matches of the Inter-Region/Department Under 19 Tournament from 2013 to 2015. The first match played on this ground was in March 2013 when Hyderabad Hawks took on Quetta Bears The Quetta Bears was a domestic T20 and List A team, based in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. Garhi Khuda Bakhsh
Garhi Khuda Bakhsh ( sd, ڳڙهي خدابخش, ur, ) is a village in Ratodero Taluka near Naudero, in Larkana District of Sindh province, Pakistan. It contains the family graveyard of the Bhutto family and is the burial place of Zulfiqar, Murtaza, and Benazir Bhutto, in the mausoleum. It was founded by Khuda Bakhsh Khan Bhutto. This was a family of feudal lords that headed the Bhutto clan. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the father of Benazir, was buried in the village after being executed following a military coup that removed him from power. On 27 October 2007, nine days after the first assassination attempt against her after returning from exile, Benazir Bhutto arrived in the village amidst tight security to visit her father's mausoleum—she was greeted by 4,000 supporters in the village. Larkana District (Sindhi language, Sindhi: ضلعو لاڙڪاڻو; ur, ) is a district of Sindh province of Pakistan. Its main city is Larkana on the banks of the Indus River. Cricket Grounds In Pakistan
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side either catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground, or hitting a wicket with the ball before a batter can cross the crease in front of the wicket. The National One Day Cup was the national domestic List A (one-day) cricket competition in Pakistan. Due to frequent reorganisations by the Pakistan Cricket Board, at different times there have been one or more competitions involving teams representing either regional associations or departments (or a mix of the two), during the same season, resulting in multiple domestic one-day champions in those seasons.
