Shahedul Alam Shahed
Shahedul Alam Shahed ( bn, শাহেদুল আলম শাহেদ) is a Bangladeshi footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. He represented the Bangladesh national team from 2011 to 2016. He previously represented Bangladesh Police in the country's professional football league, the Bangladesh Premier League. Club career Shahed was an integral part of Feni SC during their 2009 Bashundhara Club Cup Championship campaign. He scored in the semi-final during a 3–2 victiry over Moeen Smriti Sangsad. In the final, although Feni lost to Narayanganj Suktara Sangsad, the club was promoted to the professional league as runners-up and Shahed was adjudged the best player of the final. International career On 2 December 2011, Shahed made his Bangladesh national team debut against Pakistan during the 2011 SAFF Championship. Chittagong District
Chittagong District, renamed the Chattogram District, is a district located in the south-eastern region of Bangladesh. It is a part of the Chattogram Division. The port city of Chattogram, which is the second largest city in Bangladesh, is located within this district. History Because of the natural harbour, Chattogram had been an important location for trade, drawing Arab traders as early as the 9th century CE. The 2016 Federation Cup also known as ''Walton Federation Cup 2016'' due to the sponsorship from Walton was the 28th edition of the tournament. A total of 12 teams competed in this tournament. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club was the winner of previous edition of the tournament. The tournament kicked off on 10 June 2016 with the match between Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Dhaka Abahani lifted the title of Federation Cup with a 1–0 victory over Sheikh Moni Arambagh KS at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on 26 June 2016. The 2011–12 Bangladesh Federation Cup was the 24th edition to be played and was won by Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club for the first time, defeating Team BJMC 3:1 in the final. Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past.
