Shahdara Metrobus Terminal Station is a Lahore Metrobus station in Shahdara Bagh, Punjab, Pakistan, located on the north bank of the Ravi River at Old Ravi Bridge Road. The station is located just south of the junction between N-5 National Highway and N-60 National Highway and serves as the northern terminus of the Lahore Metrobus. Shahdara Bagh ( ur, ; meaning “''King’s Way Garden”'') is a historic precinct located across the Ravi River from the Walled City of Lahore, Pakistan. Shahdara Bagh is the site of several Mughal era monumentally, including the Tomb of Jahangir, the Akbari Sarai, Tomb of Asif Khan and Baradari of Kamran Mirza. History Shahdra can be translated as the door of kings and also known as "the way of kings". ''Shah'' translates as "king" and ''dra'' translates as ''the way''. In the 15th century, Shahdra was the entrance gate of Lahore under the Mughal Empire. It hosts several historic Mughal architectural sites. The Lahore Metrobus is a bus rapid transit service operating in Lahore Punjab, Pakistan. Lahore Metrobus service is integrated with Lahore Transport Company's local bus service to operate as one urban transport system, providing seamless transit service across Lahore District with connections to neighboring suburban communities. Ravi River
The Ravi River () is a transboundary river crossing northwestern India and eastern Pakistan. It is one of five rivers associated with the Punjab region. Under the Indus Waters Treaty of 1960, the waters of the Ravi and two other rivers were allocated to India. N-5 National Highway
The N-5 or National Highway 5 (Urdu: ) is a 1819 km national highway in Pakistan, which extends from Karachi in Sindh to Torkham in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Route The N-5 is the longest national highway in Pakistan and serves as an important north–south road artery, starting from Karachi and extending through Hyderabad, Moro and Sukkur in Sindh before crossing into Punjab province where it passes through Multan, Sahiwal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhelum and Rawalpindi.
