Shahabuddin Nagari
Shahabuddin Nagari ( bn, শাহাবুদ্দীন নাগরী; born 6 October 1955) is a modern poet of Bangladesh, who appeared in the 1970s and gained pre-eminence as a lyricist. According to literary critic Abdul Mannan Syed, "Shahabuddin Nagari is one of those few powerful poets of 1970s whose mastery of mixing romanticism with instinct is amazing". As of February 2016, he has published more than 75 titles. Nagari is most noted for his songs and works for the children. He was a senior bureaucrat of the government of Bangladesh. In 1971, he actively participated in the liberation war of Bangladesh. Family He married Dr. Aftabun Nahar Maksuda (1958) on 9 September 1983 at the age of 28. Bangladesh Civil Service ( bn, বাংলাদেশ সিভিল সার্ভিস ), more popularly known by its acronym BCS, is the civil service of Bangladesh. Civil service in the Indian subcontinent originated from the Imperial Civil Service which was the elite higher civil service of the British Empire in India during British rule in the period between 1858 and 1947. Subal Das (26 December 192816 August 2005) was a Bangladeshi music director and composer. He was the music director of the first film developed in Film Development Corporation (FDC), ''Akash aar Mati''. He directed music of 86 films. Early life Das was born on 27 December 1927 in Brahmanbaria District, East Bengal, British Raj. Career Das took music lessons from Ustad Israel Khan, nephew of musician Ustad Alauddin Khan. Bangladesh Betar ( bn, বাংলাদেশ বেতার; ), or BB is the state-owned radio broadcaster of Bangladesh, initially established as the Dhaka station of All India Radio in 1939. It was later made part of Radio Pakistan. After the independence of the country in 1971, Radio Pakistan ceased transmissions there and the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra was renamed to Bangladesh Betar, which took full control of all radio stations in the country at the time.
