Shadrach Roundy (January 1, 1789 – July 4, 1872 Jenson, Andrew. ''Latter-day Saint Biographical Encyclopedia'' (Salt Lake City, utah: Deseret news Press, 1936) vol. 4, p. 717. ) was an early Latter Day Saint leader born in Rockingham, Vermont. Shadrach Dingle is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale''. Shadrach Dingle was played by Andy Devine and the character debuted during the first episode that aired on 30 March 2000. Shadrach Minkins (c. 1814 – December 13, 1875) was an African-American fugitive slave from Virginia who escaped in 1850 and reached Boston. He also used the pseudonyms Frederick Wilkins and Frederick Jenkins.Collison (1998), p. 1.
