Shadow War (DC Comics)
''Shadow War'' is a nine-issue crossover event published from DC Comics featuring Batman, Deathstroke, and Damian Wayne as Batman and Robin try to stop Deathstroke from committing an unthinkable act against the League of Assassins, Talia al Ghul, and Ra's al Ghul. The event overall received positive reviews, with critics praising the writing, art, and action. Publication history In December 2021, DC Comics announced "Shadow War" as Joshua Williamson temporarily became the new writer for Batman while DC Comics searched for a more permanent Batman writer. Howard Porter (artist)
Howard Porter is an American comic book artist from southern Connecticut. Education Howard Porter graduated from Paier College of Art in Connecticut where he majored in illustration. One of his teachers there was Frank McLaughlin (artist), Frank McLaughlin. McLaughlin also worked as a comic book inker and he began to give Porter work assisting him in his inking jobs which led Porter to assist other inkers and eventually find work for himself in the industry. Biography Porter worked as a penciller and his first major run on a title came with DC Comics' ''Ray (Ray Terrill), The Ray'' (vol. 2) (1994–1995), where he worked with writer Christopher Priest (comics), Christopher Priest. Dick Grayson
Richard John "Dick" Grayson is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with Batman and Teen Titans. Created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane, he first appeared in ''Detective Comics'' #38 in April 1940 as the original and most popular incarnation of Robin, Batman's crime-fighting partner. G'nort Galactic Golem The Galactic Golem is a creature created by Lex Luthor in the DC Universe. Within the context of the stories, the Golem is a solar-powered enemy of Superman. Creator Len Wein said that he created the Golem "because I needed somebody Superman could hit! A tailor is a person who makes or alters clothing, particularly in men's clothing. The Oxford English Dictionary dates the term to the thirteenth century. The Royal Flush Gang is a group of supervillains appearing in DC Comics. The group, which debuted in ''Justice League of America'' #43 (March 1966), use a playing card theme. Their code names are based on the cards needed to form a royal flush in poker: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, and Ten. Joker (character), Joker occasionally affiliates himself with the gang, but is not a consistent member. Claiming to be a major player in the American underworld and implying he has an army at his disposal, Darhk is shown to be well-established and well-connected despite being in his early 20s and has remained untouchable by the FBI and the CIA. Merlyn (Arthur King), otherwise known as the Dark Archer, is a supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. He is a deadly bow-wielding assassin and contract killer and the archnemesis of Green Arrow, though writers have developed him over the years as an adversary of other superheroes as well, such as Batman and Black Canary. In 2012, the character made his live-action debut on The CW's television series ''Arrow'', portrayed by John Barrowman under the name Malcolm Merlyn.
